The WoW Classic Season of Mastery event takes place on November 16th, 2021

Blizzard has confirmed their plans for fresh Classic servers, which will see the creation of 12-month seasonal Vanilla realms, with some extra changes from the last time Classic was in its Vanilla stage.

The World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Mastery event takes place on November 16th, 2021. Open your Discord servers and start planning with your fellow guild member right now. In what is serving as yet another reboot of the Classic World of Warcraft experience, their aim is to give all players a fresh start and an even playing field. Although it also kind of sounds like WoW is just deleting player progress and starting again?

The servers will share the same game client as regular WoW Classic, but with players having the ability to choose to create a character on a Season of Mastery server. Character name reservations will start on November 11 for players with game time on their account or an active WoW subscription.

Once you’ve created your new character, all that will be left is to synchronize your chronometer with your friends and allies and prepare for your world (of Warcraft) domination! We’ll see you in Azeroth at 3:00 p.m. PST on November 16!

WoW Classic: Season of Mastery will be a fresh start for players who love the original version of the game, but with the changes announced, seem to be focused on players more engaged with the endgame, with the faster release schedule and raid boss buffs, players will be exposed to content a lot faster than previously.

How to play World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Mastery
To create a character and play WoW Classic Season of Mastery, you will need to download and install the client first.

Open the Battle.net desktop app and select World of Warcraft in the game selection menu.
Select World of Warcraft Classic. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you’ll see a second dropdown for Account. In that column, select the active account you want to play on.
Click the Install button. You’ll see an installation progress bar that will show you when the installation is available to play.
Once the installation is complete, click the Play button.

You’ll need to select the Season of Mastery realm you want to play on which will be identified in the Realm list. Then select Create New Character. You’ll be able to choose your faction, class, and race, as well as fully customize your new character and name them. If you change your mind about a character and have already reserved one, you will need to delete the one you made. Please note, the name associated with the character you deleted will be immediately available again to be claimed.

Here are some quick tips on getting on track to starting the World of Warcraft Shadowlands

Looking for some tips for WoW Shadowlands? There’s a lot to learn with the inevitable new zones, hubs, and systems that mark the launch of any new World of Warcraft expansion. And Shadowlands, in particular, has much more to get your head around with the introduction of the level squish and the overhaul of most core class abilities.

If you’re a new player or returning to the series after skipping one or two (or three) expansions, then you might be overwhelmed with just how much content there is to soak in. Even if you’re returning after a brief hiatus after abandoning Battle For Azeroth once hitting max level, there may still be some loose ends to tie up before the new expansion begins.

From 1-60, each new level gained rewards you with something. Whether that’s an active skill, a passive, or something else really cool – you’ll always feel that you’re constantly improving alongside your character with each ding.

Character Creation
For many, character creation is the most important factor of an RPG experience. It creates a canvas for which everything you do will be based upon, and with the new customization updates, you really have the player agency to create whatever fits your personal fantasy.

Exile’s Reach
Exile’s Reach will be your home for levels 1 – 10. This zone functions both as a basic tutorial for the game and a basic tutorial for the class you chose. For the most part, everything which happens here is reasonably self-explanatory and has plenty of indicators. Occasionally though, some aspect of the tutorial will bug out here and there. I once logged into my level 10 character, and I had a popup to check out my new ability for every ability I had obtained levels 1 – 10, despite the fact I had done that throughout the leveling process. Most of the time, typing “/reload” without the parenthesis, which just quickly reloads the game, will clear up those issues. Other times, I just had to ignore it for a while until it went away on its own.

At level 60, focus on finishing endgame quests
Many of the game’s key features don’t unlock until you complete the related quests. This includes collecting Soul Ash from the endless dungeon Torghast, used create legendary items, alongside upgrading your Covenant Sanctum home base. This means for most players, completing all quests you get in your Sanctum, Oribos or from Ven’ari in the Maw take priority when you hit 60, as they’ll unlock content that you want to progress in.

Faction
Your first task will be to decide one of the most important choices: what faction are you going to be? To veteran players of WoW, this is an important choice. Of course, you’re always free to create a character of the opposing faction, true; but many feel a strong kinship and loyalty over whether they choose Horde or Alliance.

Do level professions, but don’t stress about them
When you first hit Oribos as part of questing, it’s worth training in the next ranks of your professions. But don’t worry too much about using them. If you have a gathering profession, definitely hop on those herbs or ores as you pass them. But if you need the gold, you might consider selling those supplies rather than using them to level up. Prices are never higher on raw materials than at the start of an expansion.

And those are our quick tips to get started on World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Whether you’re a current, returning or new player, the new expansion is sure to give one reason to take up arms in Azeroth’s afterlife with a host of new features and new ways to experience one of the most iconic MMORPGs of all time.

The beta test of World of WarCraft: Burning Crusade Classic has begun

Blizzard is currently sending out Burning Crusade Classic invitations to registered beta testers. Those who register during the test can also receive an official VIP ticket for the Beta Club. There is no bouncer, participants have to be selected by Blizzard and download a special client. First of all, journalists and content creators have priority.

Players selected to participate in the beta test will receive an email invitation directing them to download the beta client directly from the Battle.net desktop app. As always, please be aware of phishing attempts—if you’re unsure whether your invitation is legitimate, please log in to your Battle.net account to verify that there is a Burning Crusade Classic beta license attached (under Your Game Accounts).

It’s worth noting players will face a choice with their existing characters: All current WoW Classic realms are set to switch to Burning Crusade-content “Progression” realms in Burning Crusade Classic, so players will have to decide whether to automatically transition to one of these or to deliberately migrate to new “Era” realms, where content will remain limited to Shadow of the Necropolis on Azeroth. Additionally, at some point soon, the game client will be updated so that draenei and blood elf characters can reach levels as high as 60 before the expansion debuts.

However, those who would prefer to stay modern still have a lot to do in World of Warcraft’s current expansion, Shadowlands. For instance, those who are taking part in the MMO can jump onto the World of Warcraft Charity Pet Program between March 31 and April 26, 2021. All players can potentially receive two new pets, Bananas the Monkey and Daisy the Sloth, if certain donation milestones for Doctors Without Borders are reached.

If you’ve been selected to participate in the beta test, your Battle.net account will already be flagged for access.

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
Run the Battle.net desktop app—it may need to update itself if you haven’t run it recently. If you don’t have the app installed, get started here.
Once Battle.net is installed and updated, select World of Warcraft from the list of games.
In the Game Version drop-down menu above the Play button, choose the Burning Crusade (listed under In Development), then click Install.
Allow installation to complete, click Play and select any of the available Test Servers.
Create a new test character or copy over a character from your live WoW Classic account using the Copy Character button.
Enter the game and test the content.

Blizzard collects feedback from all testers in the Burning Crusade Classic Beta forums. You can register on the official Blizzard website.

Blizzard has responded to WoW Classic Scarab Lord Griefing

Horde guilds in World of Warcraft Classic have reportedly been having trouble completing the Scarab Lord quest chain due to griefing by a certain Alliance guild. The quest chain is part of the Opening of The Gates of Ahn’Qiraj event and will reward players with the coveted Scarab Lord title.

According to one Reddit thread, Sulfuras has been blocking Horde attempts to take down the boss prompting every eligible Horde guild to gather and try to zerg the boss down. Sulfuras then allegedly mass reported the player who was about to earn the Scarab Lord title who was instantly slapped with a 7-day ban.

The Green Scepter Shard piece is actually part of the Scepter of Shifting Sands questline, “We’ve seen reports that on some realms, players appear to be disrupting those who are working on the Green Scepter Shard portion of the Scepter of the Shifting Sands questline. Specifically, by bringing uninvolved and low-level characters to engage with a required enemy and buff its stats/abilities.” By the way, you can buy cheap WOW Classic (RU) Accounts from z2u.com, where you can enjoy a 3% discount by using the code “Z2U”.

This event caused concern among the playerbase and prompted some official responses, one of which was a follow-up to the event that confirmed that the Horde player was not in fact banned due to report abuse. But Blizzard also pointed out a portion of the terms of service that warns against people making malicious use of the report system and threatens actions against those that do; to that point, some accounts were found to be doing just that and have seen actions taken against them.

Another official reply further discusses another form of griefing whereby low-level players are being brought in to engage with the boss and thereby buff its stats and abilities for those legitimately attempting the fight; the studio has stated that those found attempting as much could receive suspensions. So at the very least, Blizzard is aware that this whole quest chain is a hotbed for griefing activity.

Blizzard’s recreation of World of Warcraft Classic is adding the Darkmoon Faire on February

Blizzard’s recreation of World of Warcraft Classic is adding the Darkmoon Faire on February 10th. Many players new to this version of World of Warcraft have been surprised, as they believed that the Darkmoon Faire was added in the game’s third expansion, Cataclysm. However, the original version, featuring none of the now expected elements such as the instanced island and many daily quests, existed as far back as 2005.

World of Warcraft Classic launched in August of 2019 to much fanfare. On launch day and shortly after it had over one million viewers on Twitch, watching eagerly as streamers tried and failed to tackle the pervasive server issues Blizzard’s systems had, as if in homage to the original game’s brutal launch period. Every server was immediately filled to the brim, causing prolonged queue times upwards of twelve hours. Blizzard was quick to open up new servers to help ramify the players. Servers remain full of active players loving the traditional experience of an older MMO.

As revealed by the WoW Classic team earlier this month, The first Darkmoon Faire in WoW Classic will get underway this week, with the festivities opening on Monday, February 10. The good news is that the Darkmoon Cards that make up the beasts, elementals, portals, and warlords sets have already started to drop from enemies and bosses in-game. If you are in need of Cheap WOW Vanilla Gold, come to 5mmo.com, where you can enjoy the cheapest price online and 3% off with a coupon code “5MMO”.

The latest news from Blizzard confirms: “A gathering of the exotic from around the world and beyond, the Darkmoon Faire is a celebration of the wondrous and mysterious found in Azeroth. “While the Faire spends most of its time in parts unknown, Silas Darkmoon and his enigmatic employees do stop from time to time in Mulgore and Elwynn Forest.

Completing games and quests for the Darkmoon Faire will generally reward you with Darkmoon Prize Tickets. Tickets can also be earned by offering trade goods to Chronos, Kerri Hicks, Rinling, or Yebb Neblegear. Speak to Gelvas Grimegate to redeem Darkmoon Faire Tickets for various prizes, including some epic-quality pieces of gear. You’ll also be able to trade in Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets toward reputation.

The Honor System of World Of Warcraft Classic wasn’t perfect

World of Warcraft Classic revealed that the PvP Honor System is finally here. With this, players get the chance to climb the ranks and earn more PvP rewards. How does this system work? Well, when you fight against enemies that are within 10 levels of your own character and defeat them, you earn Honorable Kills. This lets you move forward in the PvP system which unlocks different rewards like, potions, cloaks, and trinkets.

The Honor System is a way to track honor throughout the entire server, honor is based on getting honorable kills from the opposing faction, Alliance or Horde. Honorable kills are when you or someone in your group kills a member of the opposing faction, either in battlegrounds or world PvP. Players will be assigned a rank, depending on their Honorable kills from the previous week. Each faction has 14 ranks, which become increasingly more difficult to acquire as you go up the list. Each rank also comes with its own rewards, like a tabard at the lowest ranks of Horde Scout and Alliance Private.

“World PvP has always been a core function of the game that comes with both risk and reward. This slice of Classic’s content and systems progression mirrors how things unfolded back in 2005 when the Honor system was first introduced. Zones like Hillsbrad (the infamous setting of Southshore and Tarren Mill) turned into chaotic melees and players actively hunted members of the opposite faction wherever they could find them. All of this, of course, is confined to PvP servers for players who opted into that riskier ruleset from the outset.

The Honor System wasn’t perfect, but it was a fun and rewarding alternative way to progress through the game outside of the endgame grind (especially because those armor sets for reaching high ranks were cool as hell). Speaking of which, the same update will enable two new world bosses, including Azuregos and Lord Kazzak, so we can all look forward to somebody figuring out how to kite them into major cities again. Finally, to enjoy all the features in the game, players can Buy WOW Classic Gold from 5mmo.com at a reasonable price.

it’s that passion from the fans the put the idea of wow Classic servers on the table in the first place

WOW Classic Gold US When you consider that games rarely go beyond a few years before their audience move on to bigger and brighter pastures the fact that a title like World of Warcraft has persisted for fifteen is incredible.

The game is on the same platform it’s always been on with basically all of the same content presentation and mechanics intact. Sure players can make the game look better and WoW Classic add-ons are certainly lightyears ahead of some of the technology players were working with in 2006. However at its core WoW Classic actively removes most of the improvements that Blizzard has made to the game over the years in favor of an approach that amounts to unearthing a time capsule preserving the state of the MMORPG circa 2006.

Of course a living game like WoW can’t stay the same – it has to grow and evolve a process that doesn’t always sit well with those that inhabit its servers. It’s no surprise then that throughout the years Blizzard has been playing whack-a-mole with unofficial servers that were created by players desperate to relive the glory days. In fact it’s that passion from the fans the put the idea of Classic servers on the table in the first place.

That isn’t to say that there aren’t failings in WoW Classic either but they’re once again a familiar tune for experienced players of the genre. Some classes are abysmal to level for instance while others thrive in nearly every situation. This is true even within the sub-classifications of classes: cheap WOW Classic US Goldfor magic users Priests have incredible self-sustain and little downtime whereas Mages can be egregiously slow in leveling depending on mana recovery and health management. Quest drops are stubborn to the point of the occasional ragequit from even the most tranquil explorer while the quest design (which asks players too often to traverse the span of a map for one objective only to have to double-back to progress the quest) is laughable compared to the much more elegant design of FF14 Shadowbringers or even current WoW. These elements like they did when the game first released keep WoW Classic from being a close-to-perfect experience.

To be the core player you can’t leave without WOW Classic US Gold. Earning gold in World of Warcraft is no longer the daunting prospect it used to be but farming for WOW Classic US gold can be tedious. Good thing you can always buy some from us here at WOWTT.COM.

Organizer of DDoS attacks on WoW Classic and Overwatch servers arrested

Vanilla WOW Gold The launch of the “vanilla” World of Warcraft Classic in late August was a real sensation: all open servers quickly turned out to be crowded and players had to wait hours in line for entry. The situation was complicated by the fact that DDoS attacks fell on Blizzard services.

A wave of reports of connection problems rose on September 7th. Moreover not only WoW Classic players suffered from the attacks. It turned out to be hurt and the Overwatch server. Blizzard immediately connected all its emergency services and soon they were able to cope with the situation.

Now the company has announced that the attacker has been identified and arrested. His name is not called as well as additional data. Judging by the fact that international law enforcement agencies are mentioned the attacker may not be an American. Most likely we will learn more about this when and if it comes to court.

Meanwhile cheap Vanilla WOW Gold Blizzard continues to offload the WoW Classic server. This time the turn came to the most distressed world – Flamegor. From the very beginning the server was chosen by streamers guild leaders and all PvP fans. It was already full at the time of launch. Over time the load has weakened but not so much that you can play comfortably.

From today everyone from Flamegor Rock Delara and Zmeitalalak can transfer their characters to the Bulletin of Rock for free. The transfer will be closed on Monday September 23 or when the new world is full.

Currently five Russian-speaking worlds are open and in the evening most of them are packed to capacity. The only exception was the Chromy server because of its PvE focus; queuing problems are extremely rare on it.

The man who attacked the World of Warcraft Classic servers has been arrested

Vanilla WOW Gold Not unexpectedly the World of Worldcraft Classic became an instant hit when it became available to players in late August and the frustration grew as the game’s servers began to fail as a result of repeated data attacks earlier this month.

Blizzard naturally took the matter very seriously and now it appears that the perpetrator of the attacks has been tracked down and faxed. It reports among other Gamesindustry.biz.

In a forum post with Blizzard the developer writes that investigators have identified and arrested a person suspected of being behind the attacks against WoW Classic servers.
Started investigation immediately

According to Blizzard the company’s own security team started an extensive investigation in collaboration with local and international law enforcement agencies immediately after the attacks began – which quickly produced results.
9
The attacks that hit the game’s servers were of the so-called distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) type or distributed denial of service in Norwegian. cheap World of Warcraft Classic Gold The method involves using a network of many different IP addresses to flood the target of data traffic to such an extent that the capacity is blown up and the service goes down for counting.

The networks used for such attacks are usually formed by means of malware that is distributed to the various IP addresses.

DDoS attacks are considered in most countries including Norway as a criminal criminal offense that can result in imprisonment for several years or high fines. It is unclear which country the suspect in this case is from and what kind of punishment might be going on.

World of Warcraft Classic may already be suffering from server overpopulation

World of Warcraft players planning to jump into WoW Classic can now reserve slots on servers ahead of the official launch later this month, and one server is proving so popular that Blizzard expects login queues of more than 10,000 players for it. In a blog post yesterday, the developer urged anybody that had reserved a slot on the PvP Herod realm to switch to the newly-opened Stalagg, because at the current rate Herod will be “massively overpopulated” at launch.

Blizzard explains that while WoW Classic has much greater server capacity than the original game, this massive amount is nonetheless way more than the devs were expecting. Simply raising Herod’s realm limits, while possible, doesn’t appear to be a worthwhile solution; Blizzard admitting, “Raising realm caps would simply forestall the problem, letting more players in at launch but creating an unsustainable situation down the line, with severe queues when we turn off layering permanently before Phase 2 of our content unlock plan.”
2
Also worth noting is the fact that Blizzard’s realm population estimates of low to high are based on the game’s current capacity rather than the classic population levels, and Jordan says that means a lot more players: A ‘medium’ realm in 2019 has more characters playing on it than any of the most crowded servers did when World of Warcraft originally launched. If you want to Buy WOW Classic Mounts, I think 5mmo.com is your best choice, after all, the site has been officially certified,so it’s very safe.

The new servers can take “several times more players” than they could back during its original launch in 2006, however there are still way too many people looking to make a new home on Herod. Blizzard noted they could raise the cap of players, though, but it could make things unreliable. “Raising realm caps would simply forestall the problem, letting more players in at launch but creating an unsustainable situation down the line,” the update said. The issue here is when the game has layering (newer tech that lets servers create multiple instances of themselves – an effort to manage larger populations) turned off, server stability will become unreliable.

Beyond the warning of server overpopulation, Jordan assured fans that strong communities remain at the heart of what Blizzard is doing with World of Warcraft Classic, “which is why we’re cautiously opening new servers to meet demand.”
