Back in September, Riot Games announced that MOBA game League of Legends would soon be seeing some seriously stepped-up fashion for the 2019 Worlds Championship, in the form of a collaboration with French fashion house Louis Vuitton. Now, the developer has started unveiling the fruits of this partnership – with a Prestige Louis Vuitton skin for Qiyana, and outfits designed by the label for members of the virtual hip-hop group, True Damage.
Recently, the developer has begun to unveil the product of their collaboration, which is a Prestige skin of the brand for Qiyana, as well as clothing designed by the brand for the virtual hip-hop girl group called True Damage, which comprises of five members, including Akali, Qiyana, Yasuo, Ekko, and the recently-added, Senna.
Some pieces are designed around the champion in general, while others take inspiration from her new skin, as well as LoL’s newest band, True Damage. Fans can choose from a wide variety of items, such as a simple black tee-shirt that features Qiyana, a watch designed around the champion, or even become her by purchasing her iconic outfit. To unlock this exclusive skin, League of Legends fans will have to buy the 2019 Worlds Pass for 1,650 RP, which is a little over $10. From there, players will have to grind out games to earn tokens to buy the skin from an in-game shop. The Prestige skin in the shop right now, Valiant Sword Riven, costs 2,000 tokens, so it’s safe to assume Qiyana will cost about the same amount.
This skin is the first to come after Riot Games announced its partnership with Louis Vuitton. A clothing drop inspired by Qiyana and Senna’s skins will release in the future, and will likely be priced as one would expect from Louis Vuitton.
